Childcare including Pre-Schools

There is some availability of free childcare in the UK, for children aged 2-4 yrs old, the amount of which depends on the age of the child. You can also get help with the costs of childcare for children from 5-16 years.

Here is the link to the Government website that explains what is available and what 'approved' childcare means. Government information on Childcare costs . Each of the local authority sites mentioned below also has information about availability of free childcare and how to access it.

Bath and North East Somerset Council provide the up-to-date information on what is available in Keynsham and further afield. They also show what types of support are available for children, parents and carers. The sites are very self-explanatory, very easy to use and comprehensive in nature.

You will find the main Childcare home page here. From here you can access information about Before School clubs, After school Clubs, Holiday Clubs, Nurseries and Pre-Schools. In each case you can filter the results by area/location and type of childcare. Application forms, where applicable, can also be accessed from here.
